Word 1.1 For Windows
This is a good word processor, perfect for older 386's. It's more primative (obviously), so it has less goodies. Word For Windows 1.1 has spell check and a few others options, but it doesn't have a lot of key features like newer Word versions. If all you want is a bare-bones word processor which absolutely flies on a 386, get this one. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles as a newer version, but works fine for school and other low-weight tasks.

Word For Windows 2.0
If you needed to grab a word processor for your computer, let it be this one. This version of Word For Windows is amazing, in my opinion better than Word 6.0. It has Grammer, Spell Check, improved Thesaurus, everything you will ever need from a word processor without eating valuable system resources. The only drawback is it may lag behind on a slower 386, but it compensates with great features and doesn't kill a lot of memory. An excellent program.
